I’m a freelance documentary photographer based in the Washington, DC area focused on partnering with nonprofits and NGOs to create visual stories that raise social awareness and help organizations drive change.

After working as a Speech-Language Pathologist and Graduate Clinical Supervisor in clinics, schools and at The George Washington University for over ten years, I’ve shifted the interpersonal and observational skills honed as a therapist toward the craft of documentary photography and visual storytelling. My professional background continues to fuel my passion to focus on the social issues surrounding education and health.

It’s a privilege to be welcomed into the lives of others and have the opportunity to document the incredible work organizations are doing to drive positive social change. I’m dedicated to helping shine light on their stories.
