I’m a freelance documentary photographer based in the Washington, DC area focused on partnering with nonprofits and NGOs to create visual stories that raise social awareness and help drive change.
After working as a Speech-Language Pathologist and Graduate Clinical Supervisor in clinics, schools and at The George Washington University for over ten years, I’ve shifted the interpersonal and observational skills honed as a therapist toward the craft of documentary photography and visual storytelling. My commitment to serving families fuels my passion to focus on issues surrounding education and health.
Creating visual stories that raise social awareness and help drive change is my passion. It’s a privilege to be invited into the lives of children, families and those that serve them and I'm dedicated to helping shed light on their stories.
