I’m a documentary photographer based in the Washington, D.C. area, working with nonprofit and social impact organizations to create visual stories that raise awareness of their missions and inspire change.
My background working with children and families as a speech-language pathologist fuels my passion to explore stories centered around education and health. I’m now directing the interpersonal and observational skills honed over the last 12 years in my work as a therapist and clinical educator, toward the craft of documentary photography and visual storytelling.
Creating visual stories that raise social awareness and drive change is my passion. It's a privilege to be invited into the lives of children, families and those that serve them and I'm dedicated to helping give voice to their stories.
